Days 1 - 11

Cape Town and Okavango Delta

Day 1 – Arrival in Cape Town

Arrive in Cape Town where a Travel Republic Africa representative meets you and escorts you to your hotel, the Westin Cape Town*** or a similar luxury property. Settle in on a bed-and-breakfast basis before embarking on an afternoon City & Table Mountain tour. Ride the revolving cable car up the iconic peak (weather permitting) and enjoy panoramas of Table Bay, False Bay and the Cape Peninsula. Back in the city, wander through the Company Gardens, visit the Castle of Good Hope and browse the craft stalls at Greenmarket Square.

Day 2 – Cape Point & Peninsula Tour

Travel along the Atlantic Seaboard via Sea Point, Clifton and Camps Bay to the fishing harbour at Hout Bay. Weather permitting, cruise to Seal Island to see Cape Fur seals before continuing along the spectacular Chapman's Peak drive to the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve, renowned for its endemic fynbos flora and dramatic cliffs. After a seafood lunch in Simon's Town, meet the African penguins at Boulders Beach and return to Cape Town.

Days 3–4 – Leisure in Cape Town

Two full days are yours to explore the Mother City. Relax on sandy beaches, shop at the V&A Waterfront or book optional excursions such as Winelands tastings, white-shark cage diving in Gansbaai or a scenic helicopter flip. The Travel Republic Africa team can also arrange township tours, whale-watching trips or private dining experiences.

Day 5 – Cape Town → Okavango Delta (Botswana)

Transfer to Cape Town International Airport and fly to Maun, Botswana. A lodge representative meets you and assists with your light-aircraft transfer into the Okavango Delta. This inland delta, formed by the Okavango River, is a maze of channels and lagoons brimming with wildlife. Upon arrival at Moremi Game Reserve you'll settle into Camp Moremi*** and enjoy an afternoon of lodge activities such as game drives through the reserve's diverse ecosystems.

Day 6 – Okavango Delta (Moremi)

Spend the day exploring Moremi's Xakanaxa Lagoon. Morning and afternoon game drives reveal elephants, lions, leopards and abundant birdlife, while motorboat safaris or traditional mokoro excursions provide a unique water-level view of the delta. Evenings include dinner under the stars and storytelling around the campfire.

Day 7 – Okavango Delta

After breakfast transfer by small aircraft to another area of the delta. Check into Okavango Camp*** (or similar) where your stay is also on a full-board basis with guided activities. This remote camp offers walking safaris, birding expeditions and boat cruises led by expert guides, allowing you to discover pristine channels and floodplains.

Day 8 – Okavango Delta

Enjoy a leisurely day at your lodge. Continue your wildlife explorations with morning and afternoon game drives or mokoro outings, or simply relax on the deck watching wildlife come to drink at nearby channels. Your guides will tailor activities to your interests, ensuring an immersive safari experience.

Day 9 – Okavango Delta → Johannesburg

After a final dawn game drive, fly back to Maun and connect to Johannesburg. Upon arrival a Travel Republic Africa representative will escort you to the Radisson Blu Sandton*** or a similar hotel. Spend the evening discovering Johannesburg's vibrant restaurant and nightlife scene.

Day 10 – Johannesburg & Pretoria

Today's half-day tour takes you to Pretoria, South Africa's administrative capital. Visit the Voortrekker Monument, Kruger House, Church Square and the stately Union Buildings and gardens. The afternoon is free for optional activities such as a Lion Park tour, Johannesburg city tour or dinner at the renowned Carnivore restaurant.

Day 11 – Departure from Johannesburg

Spend your final morning at leisure—perhaps shopping for African art or taking a last stroll through Nelson Mandela Square. In the afternoon transfer to O.R. Tambo International Airport for your homebound flight.
